This March, 10 different legal settlements are reaching their deadlines. Big names like Wells Fargo, Target, and AT&T are paying out millions to resolve claims ranging from data breaches to unpaid wages.

1. Wells Fargo ($33 Million)

 
  • The Issue: The bank is accused of allowing misleading recurring "subscription" charges from companies like Apex, Triangle, and Tarr.
  • Who is Eligible: Anyone who was enrolled in a recurring billing plan with these entities through a Wells Fargo account since 2009.
  • Deadline: March 4, 2026
  • Payment: Varies based on how much money you lost.
 

2. Grubhub ($7.15 Million)

 
  • The Issue: Grubhub allegedly added restaurants to its platform without the owners' permission or a formal contract.
  • Who is Eligible: Business owners affected between January 1, 2019, and April 30, 2024.
  • Deadline: March 4, 2026
  • Payment: At least $50.
 

3. Nelnet ($10 Million)

 
  • The Issue: This student loan servicer failed to protect personal data during a 2022 security breach.
  • Who is Eligible: People notified that their data was compromised in the August 26, 2022, breach.
  • Deadline: March 5, 2026
  • Payment: Cash payment plus two free years of credit monitoring.
 

4. AT&T Mobility ($1.8 Million)

 
  • The Issue: Allegations of minimum wage and overtime violations for workers in California.
  • Who is Eligible: Hourly (non-exempt) employees who worked for AT&T Mobility between September 21, 2022, and September 3, 2025.
  • Deadline: March 6, 2026
  • Payment: Up to $25,000, depending on hours worked.
 

5. J. Crew / Outlet Store Discounts

 
  • The Issue: Accusations that J. Crew used "fake" or misleading original prices to make discounts seem larger than they were.
  • Who is Eligible: Shoppers who made a purchase at a J. Crew Outlet or Factory store between May 10, 2019, and November 14, 2025.
  • Deadline: March 6, 2026
  • Payment: A $30 store certificate.
 

6. Oregon Employer Meal Breaks

 
  • The Issue: A company (often linked to Kaiser in Oregon) allegedly failed to pay workers for mandatory short meal breaks.
  • Who is Eligible: Hourly employees who worked in Oregon from March 8, 2014, onwards.
  • Deadline: March 8, 2026
  • Payment: Up to $872.49.
 

7. Nationwide ($1.4 Million)

 
  • The Issue: The insurance company allegedly made illegal "robocalls" to people to sell them pet insurance.
  • Who is Eligible: People who received unsolicited telemarketing calls from Nationwide starting Jan 6, 2021.
  • Deadline: March 11, 2026
  • Payment: Up to $17.50.
 

8. Kaiser Permanente (Privacy Settlement)

 
  • The Issue: Kaiser allegedly used online tracking tools that shared private medical data with third parties without member consent.
  • Who is Eligible: Kaiser members in certain states between November 2017 and May 2024.
  • Deadline: March 12, 2026
  • Payment: Estimated between $20 and $40.
 

9. SiriusXM ($28 Million)

 
  • The Issue: The satellite radio company is accused of making unwanted telemarketing calls to people on the "Do Not Call" list.
  • Who is Eligible: Anyone who received more than one call from SiriusXM in a 12-month period (between April 2019 and October 2025).
  • Deadline: March 21, 2026
  • Payment: To be determined based on the number of claims.
 

10. Target (Salary Transparency)

 
  • The Issue: Target allegedly failed to include the required salary range in job postings for positions in Washington State.
  • Who is Eligible: People who applied for a job at Target in Washington between January 1, 2023, and July 26, 2025.
  • Deadline: March 31, 2026
  • Payment: Estimated at $1,711.93 or more.
 

How to Claim Your Money


To receive a payment, you must file a "Proof of Claim" form through the official settlement websites. Keep in mind:
 
  1. Check your email/mail: Many companies send notices to eligible customers automatically.
  2. Documentation: Some settlements require receipts or proof of payment, while others only require your contact information.
  3. Don’t wait: Missing the deadline means you lose your right to any compensation from these specific cases.
